Thus copyright of a number of books on the catalogue belongs to the foundation.
The aim of the foundation is to encourage and publish works by first-time authors and little known authors, some from East-European countries.
The Artnik foundation was established in 2000 and recently published the work of Bulgarian journalist Alexenia Dimitrova based on archives of the Secret Police during the communist era.
